
The name Oregano comes from the Greek word for Joy of the Mountains. Oregano is the wild variety of Marjoram and has a more potent flavour. The more robust flavour of Oregano is the quintessential pizza flavouring and is a favourite’s herb in Greece.
Dried oregano retains its original flavour well and is good when used in soups, strews and sauces, partially those with a tomato base.
